It started when I was 10 years old and my father came to me and said, "well I have some books with schematics from radio on shortwave to be built by you yourown". So it started with the little one you know with the xtal receiver without a battery in it. And so, I have built a lot of superradio's for shortwave and Medium wave with a 455 KHz oscillator in it. A few years later, I was 13 I think, I made contacts all over the world on the 11 meterband. Later on at the end of the 70's I studied with a couple of amateurs from the region and I got the licence required for operation on VHF. 2 years later I got the big hunting licence So now I'm stalking the HF bands.

And since 2008 a Member of the German DX Foundation.

BEAM VHF -- 9 ELM F9FT PRO VERSION BEAM WITH HEATHKIT 100 WATT LINEAR. VHF/UHF -- X-50 DUAL BAND . MY RIG -- FT-2000D with AL811HX AND MY OLD RIG -- TS-288 SOMMERKAMP, LINEAR -- FL2500 SOMMERKAMP
